Mr. Kreick is Vice President - Operations of Kestrel Resources, Inc. He has twenty-five years of experience in domestic and international drilling and production. Responsibilities as Vice President - Operations are to direct all drilling, completion, workovers, land activities and monitoring of more than 30 operated and 100 non-operated wells. In addition, Mr. Kreick provides evaluation and due diligence support for the acquisition activities of an affiliated company.
Prior to joining Kestrel Resources, Mr. Kreick served as Operations Manager for Coopers & Lybrand's energy systems group. Mr. Kreick was responsible for over 500 operated and 500 non-operated oil and gas wells and supervised a staff of three engineers and three production accountants. He prepared reserve reports and did consulting for several international clients. Before joining Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Kreick was Operations Manager with Phoenix Operating Company. At Phoenix Operating Company Mr. Kreick was responsible for developing new fracturing procedures in Louisiana's Wilcox formation utilizing high concentration proppant combined with high volume hydraulic pumps.
Previously Mr. Kreick was Vice President - Production for Statex Petroleum. At Statex, he was responsible for the company's 300 operated wells and 400 outside operated wells. He closely monitored the company's waterflood properties for reservoir performance and designed high volume artificial lift installations utilizing submersible pumps. Mr. Kreick also directed the company's Gulf Coast drilling and completion activities including South Louisiana barge drilling.
Prior to Statex Petroleum, he was Vice President - Operations for Moseley Petroleum where he directed the drilling of over 40 wells in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Louisiana. Mr. Kreick was also responsible for property acquisitions and gas marketing.
Mr. Kreick spent three years in Indonesia with Trend Exploration as a Senior Engineer. Responsibilities involved directing drilling operations, workovers and installing high volume artificial lift equipment. Before going overseas, he was an Engineering Group Supervisor with Amoco Production Company, working in Wyoming and Montana. Activities included drilling, workovers, water flooding and gas processing.
Mr. Kreick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, is a registered professional engineer and member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. |
